Mechanical Engineering (Building & Facilities) Expertise:

Value Exchange Limited provides mechanical design to address stress analysis and other code-compliant needs.

VEL provides all services, including turn-key evaluations and problem resolution. Our Inspection Division can perform inspections to collect the data we require to perform our analysis and evaluation work. VEL provides:

• Fitness-for-Service evaluations on Pressure Vessels and Tanks.
• Pipe Stress Analysis for new designs, as well as existing installations.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) specifically per ASME Section VIII, Div.2 and for Pipe Stress.
• Software and training specifically geared to the ASME Codes for FEA.

In many instances, our clients come to us with concerns about equipment that has been deemed “no longer suitable for service,” based on basic evaluations such as the Pressure Vessel Inspection Code. We are able to safely extend the useful life of equipment through more rigorous engineering evaluations such as Fitness-For-Service and the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), which is consistent with the applicable codes and standards.

VEL’s process engineering department is exceptional, with subject matter experts and talented staff who are veterans in the industry and at VEL, where their knowledge is critical to entire project success. This process engineering base is strengthened by our in-house mechanical, structural, electrical and controls engineering divisions. Our capabilities span every stage of a process engineering project. Simultaneously, we’re meeting today’s high demand for piping design process equipment specification, process consulting, and piping and vessel analysis and design engineering for completion of construction documents. 3D design process is another top demand and we’ve made it a speciality. With in-house 3D scanning technology, we offer improved accuracy in data collection, design and coordination. Plus, we have the ability to conduct real-world design reviews for customers.
